As you expect with Rubbermaid products, the cabinet is almost indestructible. The one complaint I had is that when I put mine together in my basement the unevenness of the floor caused a slight misalignment of the doors. This was easily corrected with a shim placed under the front edge. Notable plusses include lightweight construction that makes relocating the cabinets easy and an amazingly small footprint for what it can hold. If you intend to store toxic items, you may want to consider ordering a set of locks from the manufacturer. Looking for affordable storage for your basement or garage? This is the unit for you.--Josh Dettweiler What's in the Box One storage container; lock not included | | | |

Just what we were looking for Aug 09, 2010 This Rubbermaid cabinet is exactly what we needed to lock away harmful chemicals and supplies in our garage. It is very sturdy, has plenty of room, and keeps everything out of sight and everyone out of danger. Be sure to take your time when assembling the item though - some pieces can quite easily be put on in the wrong order or location.
disappointed Aug 06, 2010 Not very happy with product. Did not fit together well and directions were not very clear. After buying other Rubbermaid products with no problems this purchase was definately inferior to others. Will think twice before buying Rubbermaid again
Rubbermaid Four-Shelf Double Door . . . a great buy! Jun 08, 2010 Rubbermaid makes great products and this is another example of just how good their products are. If you are looking for a well-built, easy to put together storage cabinet you should really take a serious look at this one. Not cheap, but well worth the price.
Garage Storage Jun 05, 2010 We ordered two 72-inch 4-shelf Rubbermaid storage cabinets. The cabinets come in panel sections with simple instructions and they just snap together. They are made of heavy-duty plastic and they look great along the back wall of our garage. While Rubbermaid costs more than Sterlite or Workforce, the actual weight of the Rubbermaid product is double the weight of the others which will add to the durability and life of the Rubbermaid product. We purchased the cabinets through Amazon.com and are extremely happy with the fast shipping and great customer service. The product arrived in tact with no issues. We will definitely order through Amazon.com again. We give these products an A+++ rating!
ok rubbermaid cabinet Apr 21, 2010 This cabinet is an ok cabinet. But not the quality I expected from Rubbermaid. It comes in a huge box. There are no written instructions, only pictures which are printed on the side of that box. (we cut the box open, moved the pieces inside the house, & cut the instructions side of the box off to put it together inside) The instructions definitely could be clearer. The pieces have holes & joints which fit & lock together. (the machine used to cut the holes in the plastic did a sloppy job. They were a little irregular.) Once the cabinet is assembled, it does seem stable & secure. Overall, I am happy with this cabinet. It suits my needs just fine. There is a place where you can place a lock to secure the items inside. A child protection lock would also work there if needed.
